Digital cupids shoot bent phallic bouquets
Born of a spring that never came
Orgasms fix their utensils
On sinews that bob and throb under pink grief
Allergens, indoor pollution
Unwrapping blue veins to plumpen the fleas

I cast myself prostrate face-down in the shower
And let sleep's drones softly invade
No phones vibrating, no visitors this late
Or any other time of day
They kill their dogs, babies, and cats and they stuff them
With fun and king size Milky Ways
So I spend all day and all night bound to the shower
Flesh boiling like donut jelly

Like bags of juice
